Skateboarding allows you to travel with a purpose. It brings you to places tourists don’t typically go and opens doors to meeting the most interesting and creative people… The REAL locals.
Stop number one on the list is Szaber Bowl in Poland.

This last week I have spent waking up at 6am and cycling around Vancouver, looking for fast hills, quick turns and sick spots for sunrise. I found that getting on the bike before anything (this probably applies to just exercising in general) will make you feel amazing for the rest of the day.
Im also stoked to say this was shot on my iPhone. Never knew I could capture a decent photo with this little thing.
Shot near West Point Grey Academy.
P.S. The bike down from that school is sick, make sure to go fast.
Went to a little book launch event with the homie Caleb today. I gotta say @sortdays’ space has is very cozy and welcoming feel. Almost feels like you have just entered somebody’s home. That’s something I would love to achieve some day with my own shop.
Saw some familiar faces, encountered some new ones.
Had to hold off on having another coffee today but I was very intrigued by @cafe22yvr. After talking to the barista I learned that they strictly do pop ups. Never seen that done before, but what a smart way to avoid having to pay rent!

A good skate video, in my opinion, has to evoke some type of emotion from its viewer. It is not enough for the skating to just be good. The editing, the filming and music selection have to work in sync, making the viewer want to keep watching… or even better: finish watching and then go skate!
